Tales of Plague in Heidelberg

The Black Death has spread to the city and the royal court, wealthy townspeople, students and professors are fleeing. The new plague orders mean that soldiers guard the city gates; the public baths are closed; there is a curfew in place; protective clothing and social distancing are compulsory. Quarantine and isolation are introduced for the first time. Discover the parallels with the current situation and take heart. Luckily the herbalist / barber surgeon and the apothecary have stayed behind to take care of the sick!
